JD Music Composition and Arrangements
I wrote the Prince of Egypt Suite in the spring of 2020. I knew that we were about to encounter a very challenging marching season, but had no idea how hard it would be. I wanted music that appealed to our students and would be uplifting to perform. When I began, I had not intended to make it all one piece of music. It just sort of happened very organically. The 3 tunes weaved together so well that it just made sense. The show is 7:29 but it seems much shorter. We only performed it once, and only for a home crowd.

(Bari sax available if needed.)
Drumline - Cymbals, Snareline, Tenorline (Quints), Bassline (5 Drums)
Front Ensemble - Piano/ Keyboard, Bass guitar, Synth Pad, Electric Guitar, Bells, Xylophone 1, 2, Vibraphone 1,2, Marimba 1,2, Timpani, Chimes, Auxilliary Percussion
1st Trumpet Range - B above staff
Solos- Flute Solo/ Trumpet Solo
The music does not need 2 of each mallet part to sound complete.
